Ian Panabaker, CAHP, MRAIC

Vice President, Development

A man of few words and many ideas. As Wood Development Group’s VP of Development, and its newest member, Ian leads all aspects of our development projects, working both on the planning and construction of sites in and around Guelph. Making a difference in peoples’ lives and the community is his favourite part of the job: his focus is to improve the community one place at a time. Before finding his home at Wood Development Group, he served as the City of Guelph’s first urban designer and heritage planner, and then led downtown economic development efforts. And before that, Ian launched his career in architecture, specializing in heritage conservation and urban design.

When he isn’t busy planning the “the next thing”, Ian plays a mean guitar and enjoys the outdoors with his family and their four-legged critters.
